Explainable Assistive Wheelchair for Navigation in Moderately Unstructured Outdoor Environments
A smart mobility aid for visually impaired users uses eye-tracking glasses and a Raspberry Pi to control movement through gaze. LiDAR enables safe shared navigation by avoiding obstacles, while Explainable AI (XAI) explains navigation decisions, improving safety, trust, and transparency.
